About the event
Give yourself the biggest gift of all this holiday season!
Do you want to experience the holidays differently this year? Do you dread all the social pressures, time commitments, and cultural expectations? Are you stressing about all the alcohol you know you’ll be drinking? Are you already calculating the pounds you’ll gain, the fights you’ll have and the fatigue you’ll experience from running the race again this year?
You might be questioning your relationship with alcohol, but not ready to make any commitments. You might be sober-curious. Whether you’re looking to moderate, take a break or just explore some alcohol-free days during the season, Sober for the Holidays is for you! Don’t want to wait for “Dry January” to practice controlling your alcohol intake.
Choose from our Workshop Event or our 10-Week Coaching Group (see separate Group event registration here: GROUP.)
In each of these programs, you will explore a lifestyle choice that involves self-reflection, mindfulness, and a commitment to exploring life without being reliant on alcohol for relaxation, socialization, or coping.
Both programs will help you get “off your comma” and onward to experiencing the holidays the way you want to. Both are intensive and packed with information, resources, intention-setting and action-planning. You will leave with a well-formed outcome, tools, resources and a personal plan for how to approach every event on your holiday calendar.
Most importantly, you’ll leave with a sense of possibility that YOU create for yourself, along with a community of humans who share your journey, goals and will be there to support you through the season.
Do it differently this year! Join us at “Sober for the Holidays!”

About the Coaches:
Paul Briley, Off the Comma Coaching
I ended my 25-year relationship with alcohol in 2021, without going to AA or any other treatment programs. I continue to live alcohol-free (AF) every day with gratitude, optimism and a passion for life that I didn’t once believe possible. You can too!
I am a certified coach by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and a certified talent development professional (CPTD). I have a 25+ year career helping people learn, develop skills and grow into their goals. I build relationships based on a sense of purpose, action-orientation and having fun in the process. My career was built on consultative thought leadership, focused on creating impact. I love heights, travel, animals, physical activity and am stretching myself this year by saying “yes” to things that scare the heck out of me.

Hector Garcia, Hector Garcia Coaching
In addition to being a coach, I am a Father, Brother & Heart Centered Human who has learned to weave both the masculine and feminine energies to embody a more centered human being who can hold space and show up for others when it matters most. I work with men, specifically in helping other men break down barriers that have held them back from fully embodying the best version of themselves, spiritually, physically, mentally and emotionally.
My conscious relationship with alcohol started when I began looking inwards and understanding my shadows. I learned to be courageous by gaining sobriety and looking at my shadows and integrating the best parts of myself in my daily life. I soon came to discover that Alcohol was not my main problem, it was my constant need to want to escape, it wasn’t until I started working on myself internally and realizing my life was better without alcohol that my sober awakening began.
